Sample Collectors

HSS Sample Collectors consist of units with two to sixteen collection stations.
Sampling applications that require only two sample collection stations are usually handled by using a bi-directional final sampler.

Sampling applications that require four or more sample stations use a rotary-type sample collector. Sample containers are located on a turntable and are rotated, in turn, to place each sample container under the sample feed point in turn.

Smaller collectors (4 or 6 stations) are driven by a gear reducer / brake motor. Larger collectors (8 stations or more) are driven by a gearmotor and controlled by a variable frequency drive (VFD) for "soft" starts and stops to minimize the shock of starting and stopping larger rotating weights.

Each sample container remains sealed at all times, preventing sample material from becoming biased until it is collected.
